I’ve always been fascinated by photography since I was a child, being told not to play with my dads Nikon, It was rarely used for the creative tool that it was intended to be, and I had to learn to use it. Financially I was unable to pursue this latent passion, until just recently I was lucky enough to purchase a digital camera, which satisfied both need and compulsion to see instant results. I never learned any traditional photography skills to speak of. I was all self taught which seems to be my norm. Once I had a camera in hand I was going full speed ahead relearning the basics of shutter speed, aperture etc..

After re-learning what I think is usable for my skill level, I have started testing my creative boundaries with things like HDR photos, Long exposures, Light painting, of course sunsets and just over all odd shots that I think are captivating. I love sharing my art for others to see, and to get feedback as well. Since practicing my so called skills I have had 1 picture chosen for the National Geographic weekly pics website. I hope to share more of my digital pics here. As a final note, none of my pictures are altered in anyway unless noted; I try to push my limits of what can be done without Photoshop. Thanks for your interest!
